Who we are

Our company is comprised solely of certified teachers with years of experience in the classroom as well as the professional tutoring field. Therefore, we are not only comfortable with improving the standardized test scores of young adults, but also highly trained to do so.

The owner of The Edge in Standardized Testing is also a full-time teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas High School and is professionally certified in three fields of study.

What we do

Our mission is to instruct students in the development of the varied skill sets and strategies necessary to become proficient at taking standardized tests. Each Program is based on specialized lesson plans which include informative instruction, guided practice and sample problems. The program also makes students aware of timesaving techniques, tips on avoiding detrimental traps, score-enhancing shortcuts, and more.

How we do it

We expose our students to an extensive range of material while consistently enforcing and honing their strategic approach and skill base. As a result, our students can perform all testing tasks accurately and efficiently, thereby reducing test-taking anxiety. Our programs are based on a comprehensive understanding of the various standardized tests and an assessment of each student’s individual needs. This approach enables students to enhance their strengths and eliminate weaknesses, improving their overall confidence. We empower students to master the art of taking standardized tests, producing not only better scores but also better test takers.
